How this list is made

Direct, priced purchases (Form 4 code P) by one officer or director per filing. USD only; identified trading plans, dividend reinvestments, IPO programs, employee purchase plans, private placements and unresolved amendments are excluded. Ranked by buyers and reported purchase value; no current price is used.

Filings come from SEC EDGAR and are read twice a day; this list is collected since Sep 29. Each entry links to the company's Form 4 filings on SEC EDGAR. The list describes reported trades, not prices, and is not investment advice.

Questions

What is insider buying?

When a company's officers or directors buy its shares with their own money on the open market, they must report it to the SEC on Form 4, usually within two business days. This page lists those purchases from the last seven days.

Why look at several insiders buying the same stock?

Several officers or directors buying within days is watched more closely than a single purchase. It is still not a recommendation: insiders buy for many reasons, and the list says nothing about the price you would pay today.

How often is the list updated?

Twice a day, from SEC EDGAR filings. Amounts are the reported transaction values; no current price is used.
