How the index is made
Every headline Pulsarium collects from public sources is scored as positive, negative or neutral and given an importance from 0 to 100 (by a language model when available, otherwise by keyword rules). Macro and geopolitical context without a direct market target is left out. For each day, positive headlines count +1 and negative −1, each weighted by 1 + importance/50, and the weighted average is mapped to 0–100. Days with fewer than 10 market headlines get no value.
The index describes the tone of news coverage, not prices, and is not investment advice. The full history is available as JSON; please link to this page if you use it.
